Our Coaches

Coach Sands was a two time All American at Pace Univeristy Football.  He is now the Head Varsity Football and Head Varsity Girls Flag Football Coach at Sayville High School.  Coach Sands has been coaching for 27 years at both the high school and college levels.  Winning 17 combined Suffolk and Long Island Championships as well as 4 Rutgers Trophies with Sayville. Coach Sands was recently honored with being named the 2023 National Football Foundation Coach of the Year Award.  

Coach Hoss was the Head Football Coach at Syayville HS from 2002-2016.  He led Sayville Football to 5 Long Island Championships, 8 Suffolk County Championships and 2 Rutgers Trophies. Currently working as an Assistant Football Coach at Sayville, coaching QB's and CB's.  Coach Hoss has been coaching for 27 years.

Coach Kevin Noonan played defensive tackle for Stony Brook University and has been coaching for 33 years.  Kevin is now the  Defensive Coordinator for Sayville HS and has led Sayville's Defense to multiple Championships wins.  

Coach Knote has been coaching at Sayville HS for the past 18 years as the Offensive and Defensive Line Coach.  Coach Knote is extremely well respected and  is known as one of the best Line coaches in NYS.   

Coach Rob Neugebauer was a former three year starter for CW Post at outside linebacker.  After graduating, he stayed on and coached at CW Post for three seasons where he worked as a defensive assistant.  Coach Neugebauer started to coach varsity HS football as an assistant at Longwood HS before moving on to Ward Melville HS as the defensive coordinator.  Ultimately taking over the program as Head Football Coach for Ward Melville HS.  He is now the Assistant Principal of Longwood Junior High School and volunteering his time with Sayville HS Varsity Football.  

Coach Adam DeWitt  has been coaching for the past 26 years.  He is currently the Head Girls Coach at Longwood HS. Formerly, Coach DeWitt was the Head Fall Football Coach at Longwood HS, 6x Division Coach of the Year, 1x Suffolk Coach of the Year, 2x County Champions, and won the Long Island Championship in 2004.  He was inducted into the Longwood Hall of Fame in 2015.

Coach Blatter has been coaching football for the past 29 years.  He has coached at all levels including 7 years at the college level at Stonybook and LIU Post.  At Post, Coach Blatter  helped them to 3 NCAA playoff appearances.  7 years as High School head coach for Sayville and Bayshore HS.  He was also the Defensive and Offensive Coordinator for Comsweogue HS.  He is currently an Assitant Coach at Hauppauge HS.
